This 1/2 in. bronze combination fill valve and backflow preventer is for use in commercial and residential hydronic heating systems to provide make-up water to the boiler, and prevent backflow when supply pressure falls below system pressure. It consists of a bronze backflow preventer, model 9D and a bronze feed water pressure regulator, model 1156F, in one pre-assembled unit. The high capacity fill valve provides quick system filling and purging. It is designed for use in the boiler feed lines of hydronic heating systems and has 1/2 in. union NPT inlet x NPT threaded outlet connections. The maximum pressure is 100 psi (6.9 bar).

This 3/4 in. pressure relief valve is used in hot water boiler applications to protect against excessive pressure on all types of hot water heating boiler equipment. It consists of a iron body with forged bronze inlet, non-metallic disc-to-metal seating and stainless steel spring. This valve resists corrosive water conditions, sticking and freezing, and prevents water and sediment from being trapped in the seat. It is designed for emergency safety relief and should not be used as an operating control. The pressure setting is 30 psi for applications up to 550,000 BTU/hr.

This air gap for reduced pressure zone assembly, 1/2 in. series 009, 3/4 in. series 009M2 and 009M3 and 1/2-1 in. series 995, provides an unobstructed, physical separation between the discharge end of a potable water supply line and an open receiving vessel. The installation of an air gap and drain line are recommended on reduced pressure zone assemblies. It can be installed vertically or horizontally (vent elbow required for vertical installation).

The hydraulically operated thermostat opens a spring loaded check in the cold water inlet which allows cold and hot water to mix and can be replaced as a unit. The temperature range is 120 to 160 degree F (49 to 71 degree C).
