Dwv Adapters
The NIBCO PVC DWV soil pipe adapter is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The adapter is used in a non-pressurized sanitary system which removes water-borne waste from plumbing and appliances. It adapts PVC piping to cast iron using cement and clamp or rubber sleeve.
- 3 in. Inside Diameter and 3.125 in. Outside Diameter
- Primer must be used before cementing PVC
- Use with clamp or rubber sleeve
- For above-ground DWV
- Adapts PVC to cast iron using solvent
- Smooth interior finish for reduced friction and material buildup
- Helps remove waste water and waterborne wastes from plumbing fixtures and appliances
- Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases
- Maximum service temperature 140F
Remove waste water and water-borne wastes from plumbing fixtures and appliances with the NIBCO 6 in. PVC DWV Spigot x FIP Coupling Adapter. The coupling adapter allows PVC pipe to connect with standard male pipe threads. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness. PVC DWV is easy to install and is joined by solvent cementing or threading.
- PVC requires the use of a primer before cementing
- Adapts PVC pipe to standard male pipe threads
- Use in non-pressurized sanitary systems
- Solvent-welded connections
- Solvent welds into a fitting hub to provide a cleanout
- Maximum service temperature 140F
- Helps remove waste water and waterborne wastes from plumbing fixtures and appliances
- Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases
The NIBCO PVC DWV male adapter is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The PVC DWV male adapter features a hub x male NPT thread connection and provides a means for adapting a solvent weld connection to a threaded connection. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- PVC requires a primer before cementing
- For above-ground DWV
- Adapts PVC pipe to standard female pipe threads using solvent
- Smooth interior finish for reduced friction and material buildup
- Helps remove waste water and waterborne wastes from plumbing fixtures and appliances
- Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases
- Maximum service temperature 140 degree F
Use the NIBCO 3 in. PVC DWV MIP Adapter to adapt PVC pipe to standard female pipe threads. The adapter is used with drain, waste and vent piping systems. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode.
- PVC requires the use of a primer before cementing
- Used with sanitary drainage and vent piping
- Adapts PVC pipe to standard female pipe threads
- Hub x MIPT connections
- Solvent-welded connections
- NSF/ANSI standard 14
Use the NIBCO 4 in. PVC DWV Hub x Spigot Soil Pipe Adapter with a rubber sleeve (not included) or clamp (not included) in a non-pressurized DWV sanitary system. The adapter couples cast-iron piping (not included) with PVC piping (not included). Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
