Dwv P Traps
The NIBCO 1-1/2 in. PVC DWV P-Trap with union joint is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The PVC DWV P-Trap features a union joint and hub x hub connection. The P-Trap provides a water seal so that wastewater will automatically be trapped in the arc of the configuration, thereby preventing unwanted gases from entering the household environment.
- PVC requires a primer before cementing
- Use under the discharge of a plumbing fixture or drain to help prevent sewer gas from escaping
- For use with non-pressurized sanitary systems
- Maximum working pressure of 5 psi
- Hub x hub solvent-welded connections
- Includes union joint
The NIBCO PVC DWV P-Trap is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The PVC DWV P-Trap features a hub x hub connection and provides a water seal so that wastewater will automatically be trapped in the arc of the configuration, thereby preventing unwanted gases from entering the household environment. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- PVC requires a primer before cementing
- Use under the discharge of a plumbing fixture or drain to help prevent sewer gas from escaping
- For use with non-pressurized sanitary systems
- Hub x hub solvent-welded connections
- Maximum working pressure of 5 psi
- NSF/ANSI standard 14
The NIBCO 3 in. PVC DWV Hub x Hub P-Trap. DWV is used for non pressurized sanitary system Drain, Waste, and Vent. There are 2 types of DWV plastic: ABS (black plastic) and PVC (white plastic). The sanitary drainage and vent piping are installed to remove waste water and water-borne wastes from the plumbing fixtures and appliances. DWV also provides a circulation of air within the drainage piping. ABS (black) and PVC (white) plastic pipe and fittings have identical uses.
- Used under discharge of a plumbing fixture or drain to prevent sewer gas from escaping
- Solvent welded connections
- PVC requires a primer before cementing
- Maximum service temperature 140 degree F
- ASTM D2665 and D3312
- NSF/ANSI standard 15
- UL Listed 94V-1
- NSF U.P. certified
The NIBCO PVC DWV P-Trap with union joint is used in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. The PVC DWV P-Trap features a hub x slip joint connection with L.A. Pattern union joint that is used when local code does not permit the use of slip coupled traps. The P-Trap provides a water seal so that wastewater will automatically be trapped in the arc of the configuration, thereby preventing unwanted gases from entering the household environment. Please refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and catalogs for engineering and installation information. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability and cost-effectiveness. PVC DWV is easy to install and is joined by solvent cementing or threading. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode.
- 11/2 OR 11/2 X 11/4 in. Inside Diameter and 1 5/8 x 1 5/8 or 1 3/8 in. Outside Diameter
- Features a hub x slip joint connection with L.A. pattern union joint
- NSF U.P. certified
- Maximum service temperature of 140 degree F
- Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases
- ASTM D2665 and D3311
- NSF/ANSI standard 14
- UL Listed 94V-0
The NIBCO 2 in. PVC DWV Hub x Hub P-Trap can be used under the discharge of a plumbing fixture or drain to help prevent sewer gas from escaping. The trap is designed for non-pressurized sanitary systems. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode.
- PVC requires a primer before cementing
