SharkBite Push-to-connect polybutylene fittings are the fastest way to transition from polybutylene pipe to PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are required. Simply insert the pipe, and the teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a watertight seal. The fitting has a gray collar for the polybutylene pipe and a tan collar for all CTS (copper tube size: PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, HDPE) pipes. Changes can easily be made by rotating the fitting after installation. Removing the fitting is just as fast using a disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed or reused. Designed with stainless steel gripping teeth for a secure connection, a chlorine-resistant O-ring for a long-lasting seal, and backed by a 25-year warranty.
- Push-to-Connect fittings are ideal for installation in tight spaces
- Rated to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and 200 PSI

The Tectite by Apollo Brass Push-To-Connect EZ-Slip Repair Coupling is a patented innovation in push-to-connect technology designed to make a quick repairs to rigid Copper or CPVC Pipe. Great for emergencies and freeze repairs, the Tectite by Apollo Push-to-Connect EZ-Slip Repair Coupling is the fastest, cleanest and simplest way to repair copper and CPVC without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. The slip capability allows a section (up to 2 in.) of pipe to be cut out allowing for the easy installation of the fitting where rigid pipes do not allow movement. Simply thread the included demount clips on either end of the fitting until they resist further tightening. Slide the slip coupling on to the pipe covering the leak point or position the slip coupling so that it either pipe is fully inserted into the fitting. Finally, turning counter-clockwise, remove the threaded demount clips which will allow the stainless steel grip teeth to bite the pipe and provide a leak free connection. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using the threaded demount clips (included). After assembly, fitting may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo fittings are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
