The color-matched, optional deck plate, allowing 3-hole installations, contains an EVA foam gasket which provides a watertight seal, eliminates the need for putty or caulk, and delivers a clean appearance on your sink. EVA foam is durable, slip resistant, and can withstand extreme temperatures. In addition to the 2 installation options, this faucet's design accommodates decks measuring up to 2-1/4 in. thick.
