Product Overview

Use the NIBCO 4 in. PVC DWV Hub x Spigot Soil Pipe Adapter with a rubber sleeve (not included) or clamp (not included) in a non-pressurized DWV sanitary system. The adapter couples cast-iron piping (not included) with PVC piping (not included). Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

• PVC requires the use of a primer (not included) before cementing
• Adapts PVC piping (not included) to cast-iron piping (not included)
• Use in conjunction with a clamp (not included) or rubber sleeve (not included)
• 5 psi maximum working pressure
• Smooth interior finish for reduced friction and material buildup
• Helps remove waste water and waterborne wastes from plumbing fixtures and appliances
• Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases
• Maximum service temperature 140 degree F
