Plus, the humidity capacity is adjustable from 11.5 Gal. to 34.6 Gal. per day, making this unit suitable for a variety of home sizes and regions. The automatic digital control works with an outdoor temperature sensor to continuously monitor your home's relative humidity, turning on and off the humidifier as needed. While balanced humidity exists between 40% to 60%, it's important to remember that outdoor temperature and other home factors will impact what relative humidity level is attainable and recommended for your house. You'll enjoy balanced humidity thanks to electrode technology, which passes an electrical current through water to boil it and generate steam before sending this humidified air into your home. This process happens inside the included steam canister, which should be replaced annually for optimal performance.
